rebekahwithak: THE CAB

Haven't posted in forever so here's an insanely long post to make up for it HAHAHA (seriously tho it's really long... Fair warning.)
Anyway last night, I went for The Cab and it was amaaaaaaazing. I shall start from the beginning. I'm still on crutches so I emailed Tab a couple of days ago asking if there'd be any place where I can sit during the concert cause I can't stand for very long and the dude that got back to me was super awesome and told me they'd put me in the balcony so I can sit and get a good view (a very very good view) at the same time. Sooooo yesterday when we got to Tab he was waiting outside for us and then he brought us in via the back through like a lift in Orchard Hotel and then this secret back door thingy it was so dark hahahaha but yeah basically we went straight up and that's when we found out that the 'backstage' was UPSTAIRS RIGHT NEXT TO WHERE WE WERE seriously all that separated us from the band was a black cloth thingy and we were so close to them omg. But yeah we didn't know that when we first got there UNTIL SINGER LOOKED DOWN AT THE CROWD AND EVERYONE STARTED SCREAMING AND WE TURNED AND SAW THAT HE WAS RIGHT THERE RIGHT NEXT TO US omg. So I was just sitting there freaking out but I couldn't do anything because there was some security dude watching us BUT THEN MARSHALL WALKED PAST US BUT HE WAS WALKING SO FAST AND FJEJWOHDOEBD yes. But yeah I think he walked past us like 3 or 4 times and I just sat there and spazzed before I finally got up and asked him to sign the instax I'd taken with him on Friday (more on that later) but yeah omg and I was so so happy and the security dude was still standing there being scary and Marshall seemed kind of wary of the dude so he signed really fast and went back behind the black cloth thingy lol. AND THEN SINGER WALKED PAST and I was all FJEJWOHDOEBD again hahahaha and when he came back I asked him to sign the instax I took with him too an then asked if he could take one with Nichole and he was like sure and he like stood there and jfkeodjdifu he was so nice AND THEN I asked if he could call Joey out cuz I hadn't met Joey yet and I love Joey and I saw him behind the cloth thing and I was just dying and then Singer was like sure and he went back and a few seconds later JOEY CAME OUT AND JDKFJDOWHDKSJD I was like freaking out so bad on the inside and he was just like "Hey guys I'm Joey nice to meet you what're your name?" and we told him our names and I was like "and we KNOW you're Joey" HAHAHAHA and then he was like you have beautiful names gfjdjsjsj and then he like repeated our names to double check and ohhhhhmygosh he was so sweet and cute and omg yeah. So I was like can we get a picture and he was like of course and he asked what happened to my leg and if I was okay and I was like "uhh well I guess..." and he laughed and said "of course you're not!" and like hahahahaha idek and then he grabbed my shoulder so tight lol and I was just like hehehehe and he asked if I wanted a drink or anything from behind and I was like nah it's okay HE'S SO SWEET OMG and then I helped Nichole take her instax and then we asked if he could throw us a pick during the show and he was like "Of course, I'll try to throw it up but if I can't I'll just give you one later!" and I was like fjdkdo omg thank you and this post is such a freaking out post because I love everyone and I love Joey and ahhhh I was just freaking out so bad and Joanne and Nichole kept laughing at me boooo. Yeah and then Joey went back in but like he smiled at us when we saw him and then like yeah soon they came out so they could go down and THEY WERE ALL THERE RIGHT BEHIND US so I was like HAVE A GOOD SHOW or something like that and Singer smiled and said thanks and I was just like freaking out again and yeah basically there was a lot of freaking out and me making kind of a fool of myself BUT I DON'T CAAAARE BECAUSE I MET ALL OF THEM AND THEY ARE SO SWEET AND NICE AND I LOVE THEM AHHH. Yeah so the show was super great but I guess it felt pretty weird, like us standing (and sitting, in my case) up there awkwardly in the balcony cuz like it'd be too weird to jump around (and I can't jump anyway) but like yeah it was still really good + I could take videos really easily HAHAHA. And like yeah when they played Vegas Skies and I'll Run and That 70's Song I was just so so sooooo happy because I really love Whisper War and like they put up such a great show because it's their last show on this tour + Frank's last show with them because he's going to be touring with SLASH omg so cool AND LIKE SRSLY FRANK IS SUCH A NICE GUY he tried to touch every fan's hand after the show and when he came up he shook all our hands and gave us picks (Marshall's tho hahaha) and he was telling us that like even though they just played for about 600 people in Manila the other day, this show was somehow so much more amazing and I said it was probably because it was more intimate and he was like yeah and then he took photos with us but not before warning us that he was really sweaty even though he wasn't that bad hahaha so cute. And then Dave came and he asked Dave to join in and we all got our pictures and I was so happy. Also, Dave smelled really good. Not that I purposely smelled him okay like his arm was around me so when I breathed of course I could smell him psshhhh HAHAHAHA. But yeah it was cool.. AND THEN so like we were just sitting there and I occasionally turned to look past the black cloth because well I wanted to see them and then Joey like walked past and I waved at him and then he came out again and he was like "Hey thank you so much I love you!" and he hugged me and I was like dgdueieuusjsjde "I love you too!!!!" HAHAHAHAHA retarded but ya true story and then yeah I was like dying and he hugged and thanked Nichole too but when he got to Joanne they kinda hesitated and then Joey was like "Aw c'mon brohug" and hugged him and we were laughing so hard and I tried to get a picture but I was too slow HAHAHAHAHAHA BUT THAT WAS SO HILARIOUS and then he went back and I was sad but like yeah he smiled at me when he walked past and stuff and I just like melted every time hahaha and then when we were about to leave the dude from Tab was like "Want them to sign your crutches?" and I was like HAHAHAHAHA uhh sure AND HE TOOK MY CRUTCH AND BROUGHT IT IN HAHAHAHA so we were just sitting there laughing for a while then I went to try and get a picture of them signing my crutch and Joey was so cute he smiled so wide when he saw the camera hahahaha and then yeah they all signed the crutch and then we left and omgggggg I was so happy we were so happy it was so awesome lah I can't even omg I'm just so grateful that I even had the opportunity hahaha like even though I tore my ACL and went through so mic pain and suffering I actually got something amazing out of it AHAHAHAHA but yeah I don't think I'll be purposely injuring myself for a concert anytime soon lol I think this case was just a very fortunate one because Tab has such great hospitality and it the arrangement was like.. Yeah so good and stuff and ahhhhh I hope I don't suffer from too much concert withdrawal...
Oh yeah but also, Nichole and I went to the 987 studio for their interview on Friday to like try and meet them (only the two Alexs were there tho) and like there were quite a lot of people there and it was hard to get a photo with them but the people there were so super nice and they were like shouting "OVER HERE SHE'S ON CRUTCHES REBEKAH IS INJURED" and stuff like that to get their attention so I could get my photo AND I DID omg so yeah I was super happy and thankful that all these other fans were so super nice and kind and like yeah I LOVE EVERYONE!!!!!!!! Yeah that's all I think. That's a lot. Hahahaha damn but yeah BEST CONCERT EVERRRR. Like I think The Cab is the nicest band to come to Singapore like from the number of fans they met and took pictures with on this trip, like I don't think many other bands would be so nice and keep trying to meet fans and sign things. Such a great band. ♥
